The Farmhouse Tap + Tavern welcomes you to enjoy delicious modern pub fare with a twist in the village of Altamont at 186 Main St. Our focus is on creating a laid back environment with exceptional cocktails and innovative modern American fare. By utilizing local and sustainable ingredients, we are bringing together our local community with the surrounding farmers. Our warm and rustic interior features beautiful décor including rustic artisan wood and stone, a custom crafted wood burning pizza oven, craft local beer, high quality wines, handcrafted cocktails, and fresh locally sourced proteins, cheeses, baked goods and produce when available. Try our delicious burgers, which are sourced from a small local butcher shop providing high quality meat to the area.

At the Farmhouse, we are setting the standard for cutting edge mixology. We take cocktails very seriously, complimenting our seasonal eats from local vendors. Whether revitalizing an old favorite or creating new drinks, we provide the perfect punctuation for all guests. Likewise, Farmhouse’s wine list has been delicately composed to provide those of all palates a selection of bottles and glasses to pair with every meal or preference. Countless thoughts and attention to detail helped us craft the menus.

Craft beer is our thing. Our twelve rotating taps will include a beer that will suit. Our choice was to utilize the local breweries in our area and help support the community of brewers. The menu has a wide array on options from all over the 518. Find some local favorites such as Common Roots, Northway Brewing, Mixed Breed Brewery, etc.

We strive to use the best ingredients and liquors possible when crafting our cocktail menu. You’ll find local spirits such as Albany Distilling Company, Springbrook Distillery, Upstate Vodka and more. All of our tinctures and syrups are made in house and we use 100% freshly squeezed juices. Fresh is simply better. From sweet, to savory, we have a cocktail that will please all.
